The Island York
Award Winning Charity the Island York has made a real difference in the lives of so many vulnerable children and young people. North Island and South Island groups offer space and time to vulnerable children. These groups provide a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment for various activities, including arts and crafts, sports, cooking lessons as well as opportunities to invite local groups and organisations to run workshops and sessions such as street dancing and DJ-ing.

The CEO, Nigel Poulton was recently awarded an MBE for his services to the community through this charity.
